Original artwork description
This painting is part of the Post-Alienation series, a body of work exploring the condition of the human figure after identity, social roles, and external attributes have been stripped away.
The figure appears faceless and anonymous, standing in a state of tension between presence and dissolution. The dominance of red evokes emotional pressure, inner conflict, and psychological exposure, while the vertical green line suggests a fragile inner axis—an attempt to preserve structure within collapse. The lower part of the body dissolves into dark and blue tones, reinforcing the sense of instability and erosion.
Rather than portraying a specific individual, the figure represents a universal post-alienated state: a human form that remains after separation from labels, narratives, and expectations. Dripping paint and blurred edges emphasize vulnerability and impermanence, allowing the viewer to confront their own sense of disconnection and reconstruction.
This work does not seek to illustrate alienation itself, but what follows after it—what remains when nothing external is left to define us.
This is an original, one-of-a-kind artwork from the Post-Alienation series, suitable for collectors interested in contemporary figurative abstraction and concept-driven painting.
