Snape Maltings is a 're-purposed' malting complex beside the River Alde in Suffolk and we visit a couple of times every year. The 'Cygnet' is a beautiful half-size Thames barge that is usually moored there. It sits fairly low in the water and is steered by a tiller. On the day we visited I stood on the bridge over the river and made this small sketch then added some detail later.
