As you look at my artwork, I hope you can't help but be transported into my world, sailing around the globe with my family for seven years. An incredible journey: 7 years, 30,000 nautical miles / 55,000 kilometers, 28 countries. Storms, waves, transatlantic passages, the almost incomprehensible vastness of the Pacific, weeks with no land in sight, isolated islands...
The "Terra Mystica" series is a celebration of the mysteries of the earth, capturing its raw power and ethereal beauty.
This painting in luminous shades of violet draws inspiration from the vibrant bougainvillea of French Polynesia.
