"Tension Field" explores spatial tension through rupture, dynamics, and the collision of forms. The massive black shapes create a sense of pressure and compression, but the central rupture disrupts their solidity, like a fracture splitting the structure apart. White lines pierce through the space, emphasizing the moment of energetic rupture and creating an effect of dynamic instability.
This work is part of a series dedicated to exploring various forms of dynamics in minimalism. In "Tension Field", the interplay of rhythm, mass, and void generates a sense of charged equilibrium, where force and fragility coexist on the edge of balance and disruption.
The painting is made with acrylic on canvas. The artwork size is 99 ×99 cm, with a depth of 2 cm, and the edges are painted to match the composition. The total canvas size, including borders, is 107×107 cm.
For protection, the surface is coated with a satin varnish. The painting will be shipped without a stretcher frame, rolled in a cardboard tube for safe transportation within 1–3 business days from Spain.
