This is 'Tembo' half elephant painted in acrylic on black leather and framed as per the image.
At first look the artwork seems to be monochrome but closer inspection shows warm highlights giving a depth to the elephants which hints at 3D.
A close up shows the style of the frame. No glass is required as the leather is protected - so no reflections or glares to try and get round when deciding where to hang the artwork.
Image 37.4" x 19.68" (95cms x 50cms). Framed size measures 43.3" x 25.6" (110cms x 65cms) and is ready to hang on the wall. A truly unique piece of artwork.
