It's hot; we're sitting in a cafe, drinking Coke with ice.
My husband says, "Right now, somewhere in the field, amidst the expanse, inhaling the scent of heated grass..."
I respond, "Yeah, chasing butterflies, stepping on a mine..."
If only there were a way to experience both, to feel and smell there, and then here.

Artwork from series "Life in Avatar".The work is done in mixed media technique. Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian fine-grained cotton canvas tm Unico were used. The finish is matte lacquer.
