My work leans towards an air of the surreal and sublime. A moment in time that is left open for the viewers imagination to interpret and yet is symbolic in nature.

I often include humans and animals together. Their relationship conveys a sense of connection to the ineffable and delicate nature of life.

My medium of choice is usually watercolor. It has a delicate luminous quality that lends itself to the type of themes that interest me. Watercolour is unforgiving and unpredictable and its fluid nature makes it hard to control giving the painting experience an essence of the untamed.
