I painted this watercolor sketch of a seascape on a tropical beach in Turkey while vacationing there with friends in the summer.

Seascape Painting - I often paint seascapes, beaches, sailboats, as in the summer I go to rest in resort places and paint right on the beach or on the pier. I draw paintings from nature, on plein air. Often, I paint my watercolor landscapes using the Alla Prima technique, in one step.



I love watercolor painting for its magic, transparency and lightness.
My painting watercolor on cotton paper, using mainly palette brush and watercolor paints.

Watercolors give this work a special lightness and airiness. I like paint with watercolors using the ala prima technique, using the effects of splatter, transparency and color saturation.
