£665.4

Painted on-site in the artist's neighborhood in Minneapolis, MN. Features an oak tree in full fall color, with foliage in shades of bright orange, dark orange, gold, and bronze. The tree's tall and slender shape is highlighted by the tall rectangular shape of the canvas. The tree rests in a landscape of green grass and yellow background foliage. The scene is crowned with a clear blue sky. Painted in oil over casein paint with both palette knife and brush. The texture of the foliage is enhanced by oil paint applied with palette knife, and incorporates iridescent red and bronze. The runny, dripping effects in the grass were created with casein paint and glazed with oil. The painting is ready to hang with painted sides and a wire on the back. The 1" thick stretcher bars will also easily fit into a frame if framing is desired.

Materials used:

oil paint, casein paint, iridescent oil paint, canvas
