Symbolic painting about war:
"Spring in Ukraine"
I put all my pain and compassion for the Ukrainian people into this little picture. It was the first artwork after the sudden invasion of free Ukraine by the Russian army. Still in shock at what was happening, I tried to understand why it happened. And why the vast majority of the people around me either silently approved or openly supported this barbaric aggression and mass killings.
This war stripped bare the essences of the two nations and showed where the Soviet ""Sickle and Hammer"" had sprouted.
