After a day’s shooting at Balmoral in Scotland, The Prince of Wales (son of Queen Victoria) and his companions are surprised to see a lady run past them, carrying a Swiss flag. The rumour amongst the servants (subsequently scotched) is that she is running from Land’s End to John o’ Groats in order to promote the consumption of Swiss cheese in Britain.
