Swimming against the tide,
With strength and will as my guide,
I push against the current's flow,
With each stroke, I'll make it known,

That I am more than what is seen,
I am a fighter, a force supreme,
I will not let the tide control,
My destiny, my heart and soul.

For though the tide may be strong,
And push me all the way along,
I'll find the strength to break free,
And swim against the tide, you'll see.

With every breath and every stroke,
I'll make my way to the shore,
For I am not one to be swayed,
By the tide's constant roar.

So let the tide keep flowing,
Let it push and let it pull,
For I will swim against its force,
And I will come out full.

With determination in my heart,
And a will that will not bend,
I'll swim against the tide,
And reach my journey's end.
