Original artwork description:

The majority of paintings in my series, "Birds in Nature" I chose to place the birds in forest, parks or woodland scenes. This piece was inspired by walking in the park near my home and regularly watching the swans in the pond. I wanted to take the new challenge to capture the movement of the Swans in water. I particularly like the textual marks I created to express the movement of the water and the birds.

Materials used:

plaster, texturizing tools, palette knife, acrylic washes, oil paint
