The day was perfect. The sky was clear blue, un-interrupted by air traffic. Rich yellow sunlight shone down. Leaves on plants looked healthy, sparkling clean in the bright light. It was quiet, except for a bird calling. My world was happy and peaceful.
I painted our model Alex using the colours of the day inspired by the weather and plants - blue, bright yellow, orange, red and green. I worked quickly and spontaneously to music. I enjoyed using a variety of colours which interacted with each other to create a bright, dynamic ambience.
