Landscape of Auvergne, in the very heart of France.

This cornice path, overlooking a deep valley, offers an exceptional view of the Mezenc massif. It winds its way between the deep-rooted pine trees, which seem to salute the immensity of the landscape. In this canvas, I have tried to capture the last rays of the sun, still warming this winter landscape for a few moments.

The white finish of the sides of the canvas allows, if you wish, a hanging without a frame.

Materials used:

This painting is painted with professional grade oil colors on a primed canvas. I prepare myself my canvases to create a texture specific to my painting needs and to insure them maximum longevity.
