"Sunset - Passion" is a palette knife oil impressionistic sea sunset landscape painting. This is an original oil painting on a 47 x 37 cm linen not stretched canvas. Painted a palette knife creating a textured canvas (impasto).

This is one of a series "Emotional sunsets" where I painted two different sunsets to express 2 different emotional states which a person usually faces in relations: Passion and Tenderness.

This painting was created in "en plein air" in the south of Crimea, where the Sun is not seen when it is coming down but seen the Moon and it makes the sunset very unusual.

These 2 artworks (together with "Sunset - Tenderness") could be a diptych and hanged together.
