“Sunset on the River” is my attempt to capture a fleeting moment when the day slowly gives way to evening. I painted this landscape inspired by the quiet breath of the water and the last warm rays of the sun. In this work, it was important for me to convey not the precision of form, but the feeling of living nature and the movement of light. Bold, expressive brushstrokes create the rhythm of the flowing river and the whisper of the riverside grass. Rich shades of pink, blue, and green reflect the changing evening sky. The shoreline with its trees seems to preserve the silence of the fading day. The water becomes a mirror where the sun slowly dissolves. I wanted to show that moment when the world pauses between light and the approaching dusk. This painting is about tranquility, freedom, and quiet contemplation. For me, this sunset is a reminder of the beauty found in simple, fleeting moments.
