This painting was painted on locations with some adjustments in the studio. It was my third visit to this place in Victoria, a mecca for rock climbers from all over the world. I am always inspired by the gentle colours in the eastern sky at sunset. Had to work fast and spontaneous to capture the fleeting light. The picture shows the western face of Mt Arapiles.
