Lake Como, locally known as Lago di Como or Lario, is the third largest Italian lake (after Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore). Located at the foot of the Alps, Lake Como offers some of the most romantic and picturesque scenery in Italy.

Varenna (Comasco, Lecchese: Varena) is a comune (municipality) on Lake Como in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) north of Milan and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Lecco.

Vibrant colors create a mesmerizing sunset over a body of water, where swirling clouds and reflections interplay with the scene. A small cluster of buildings and trees sits on the shoreline, adding depth and charm to the landscape.
