The sun ignited the clouds, turning the sunset into one of nature's most beautiful spectacles. The black silhouettes of the trees and the red sky create an ominous atmosphere of a witch's festival. No birds or dwellings are visible. This painting is a window for the viewer. Through this window, the soul, like a night bird, will fly into the sunset, soar above the wild forest, inhale the mist of the lowlands, perch on the top of an ancient tree, and freeze in rapture, contemplating its beloved eternal twilight.
