"Sunset in the sea" is an impressionistic oil etude painting 18*24cm, created en plein air from nature in summer 2024 in the Black sea in Sochi, Russia.
This impressionistic painting captures the sunset light at the sea, when the colours are bright and orange, but the sun has not yet set. There is a lighthouse in the horizont waiting for the Sun to set. As usual I wanted to capture the beauty of the moment..
