"Sunset - Explosion of color" is an abstract impressionistic oil painting.
It is a palette knife abstract impressionistic oil landscape painting made in June 2020. This is an original oil painting on a 50 x 60 cm linen canvas. Painted with a brush and a palette knife creating a bit textured canvas (an impasto) on the horizon.

It was inspired by an incredible sunset on my first walk after a quarantine ended in Moscow. The colour of the sky was so intensive like it was an explosion of colour and emotions! Like all the nature was fresh and born again! This picture gives me feelings of something new and fresh and very deep!
