When creating this painting, I aimed to capture the innocence of childhood and the vibrant energy of the ocean. I chose two boys as the focal point, standing at the shore, surrounded by splashing waves. My goal was to depict the transparency of sunlight on water and the sense of movement, so I used bright blues and warm golden tones to create a lively, sunlit atmosphere.

To enhance the dynamic composition, I painted the water droplets in motion, giving the scene a rhythmic flow. The seagulls add a sense of natural vitality. I focused on the interplay of light and shadow, especially on the boys’ wet skin and hair, to emphasize the glistening effect of the sun. For the splashes, I used energetic brushstrokes to capture the texture and motion of the water.

Through this piece, I hope to evoke a sense of nostalgia, reminding viewers of childhood memories by the sea. I wanted to preserve those simple yet precious moments—where laughter, waves, and sunlight merge into pure joy.
