Original artwork description
Shadow drinks milk from the window — thick and warm. I do not know whose hand holds the invisible pitcher, but it pours, pours gold into emptiness, onto the wall, onto the place where once stood a table, where someone has not yet left.
The flowers will never wither, they have simply become light. Their petals — crumbs of bread with which they fed everyone who came at dawn. Their heart — a small sun that knows no sunsets, only endless morning, only be well, only I remember.
I remember all the languages of the wind and all the names of those who looked through this window, thinking they gazed at a garden. While there — only a wall. And shadow. And light that does not know how to lie.
This is happiness: not to have, but to remember. Not to touch, but to shine through fingers, through this unbearably light, white, morning.
