Original artwork description:

A fun piece, something I have been thinking about for a while. My objective was to take the tiny figures I paint and exaggerate their simple forms. What I created reminded of Alberto Giocometti, an amazing sculptor who I studied at University.

These are proving very popular and I have been painting these seascapes for over a year now. The simple landscapes which feature small figures relaxing, capturing that feeling of quiet solitude while ironically being surrounded by people.

A series of works on reinforced primed wooden panels with its smooth surface reacts like water to my soft brush strokes.

The final professional touch is with the painting placed in a hand painted white wooden frame, all ready to hang.

Oil paint and glazes, wooden panel primed in gesso
