Sunny City
This original watercolour painting by me Elizabetha Fox is inspired by those beautiful clear sunny days when the glass of the city's skyscrapers sparkles and casts light down into the shady spots at the bottom of old buildings.

The shapes and forms of our rich juxtaposition of old and new in cities in the North West of England is a subject of fascination and visual interest to me.

This is an original watercolour cityscape painting on heavy weight archival watercolour paper. The work is not framed and is ready to be framed to your preferences.

About the artist

My work has been selected for the Royal Institute of Painters in watercolour exhibition, Mall Galleries, London, (2024, 2023), ING Discerning Eye exhibition, London (2022) Sunday Times Watercolour competition London and Southampton (2020)
I hold a Master of Art (Fine Art) and BA Honours Degree in Fine Art.
My painting is bound up with examination of the land, and in particular, the ephemeral, those forces and presences that cannot be seen but which change and shape the land.
I have been painting every day for many years, since graduating with an MA in Painting. Over 500 paintings have been sold to collectors across the globe, from USA to Canada, Australia, Britain, Singapore, Germany, and all of Europe.

Paintings will be sent to you unframed, (unless otherwise stated in the description) and protected with cellophane or paper, in a re-enforced padded envelope or recycled box, on a Tracked Delivery service with the Royal Mail or Parcel Force International for large items.
