Acrylic painting depicting sunlight breaking through the clouds and onto Uig Bay on Skye.
The land mass on the left is Earlish point
This painting was done from a sketch at the time and finished off later back in my studio.
I have done a few of these moody rainy scenes lately and its a theme I hope to continue with for a while.
This painting is coated in two layers of protective varnish.
