I painted a field where summer breathes its soft light. Sunflowers stood before me - slender, golden, like little suns that caught every ray. Their glow contrasted so much with the muted green of the grass and the distant forest that they seemed to live a separate life - joyful and striving upward. Behind them lay a field warmed by the sun, and a pond reflecting the sky - a quiet pause in the middle of an endless plain. The trees scattered along the horizon seemed to guard this silence, not allowing it to be disturbed by the bustle. In every brushstroke, I wanted to preserve the breath of summer - its clarity, its fragile joy and light thoughtfulness. It was important for me not only to depict the landscape, but also to convey the feeling when you stand before nature and feel its infinity, its eternal and simple grandeur.
