Painted from life from flowers arranged by the artist. Features a golden yellow sunflower with a dark center. The profile of a second sunflower can be glimpsed to the left. The sunflower is accented by white daisies, pink gerbera daisies, alstroemeria, and purple statice. Painted in oil on board with both palette knife and brush. The shapes of the flower petals are enhanced by thickly applied paint. Framed in a 3" wide wood frame with a black colored finish. Framed dimensions: 17.5 x 17.5 x 1". May also purchased unframed by request.
