Do you know this feeling you get on Sunday mornings? You wake up, you have nowhere to rush, you can sit with your family or even alone and have a peaceful cup of coffee. And sometimes there is just all this random stuff that sits on the table that makes it your home in a way. That's the feeling I tried to capture in this charismatic still life. Also I love the naive vibe of this painting.
In my opinion it would look best in a minimalistic like entourage (or at least in an all white frame.
It is completely done in acrylics on canvas board. Has a lot of visual texture going on. I'm saying visual because the painting is very smooth to the touch with a beautiful matt finish. The rims on the cups and saucer are painted with beautiful gold that has a subtle shine.
The size of the painting is 50x50 cm.
Signed on the front and back.
Shipped in a cardboard box.
