A lovely young lady , in her garden ,starting to work on a painting .Most of her painting is still not done.
I love the concentration in her face. I think she is "in the zone". The work is just flowing out of her.
My model was of Hispanic-Caribbean descent , living in Florida , USA.
The work is done in oil, with a layering technique , to give the colors richness and vibrancy. . The canvas is deep profile (gallery canvas) and is painted around the side , so framing it is optional, not necessary. For best protection , it is coated with Gamvar varnish.
