An impressionistic landscape painting.

I live in Kent, near England's south east coast. It's a land of big sandy or pebbly beaches, cold water which is coloured by mud and sand, and generally small waves, but big tides. I love to walk on the footpaths and beaches, grasses and tough looking flowers thrive and grow right up to the sand, and at Camber Sands there is an impressive set of dunes topped with grasses. This painting is a celebration of the English summer there, with clouds and a big sky, and a walkway through those grasses and flowers down to the beach and the sea.

I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.

This 70x100cm landscape painting is unframed. It has white painted edges, and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
