Original artwork description:

I planted marigold flowers in my backyard for the first time and was simply amazed by the result. They delighted me all summer and fall until the first frost. It was so wonderful to have a fresh bouquet on my kitchen table all this time. These flowers remind me of my childhood spent in Ukraine.

Original painting - painted on a stretched canvas. It is made with a palette knife using the impasto technique. Sides are painted and the painting is ready to hang. The painting is finished with gloss varnish.
