The red and bright colors in portrait format convey the intensity, drama, and beauty of a summer thunderstorm, with strong reds blending with black, white, and vibrant yellow, lilac, and orange tones. These colors represent the energy and passionate mood felt during a thunderstorm.

The brushstrokes are dynamic, predominantly vertical, but they also move in different directions, emphasizing the impetuous, urgent nature of the storm. The painterly textures can convey the impression of fast-moving clouds, while small splashes or drop-like shapes evoke the feeling of rain or lightning.

The experience of lightning and thunder is an abstract motif I developed that has accompanied me for years and that I enjoy returning to again and again.
