Summer Shadows (2021)Linocut

Summer Shadows is a memory of the long summer shadows you see as Summer heads towards its end.
It's also a homage to David Hockney, a print to remind us that Summer will come again and a happy image to make us smile, in the (bleak) mid winter.

This is a reduction Lino cut. It is made using one piece of Lino which is repeatedly carved and printed, until finally, the image appears. Some images of the process are included. It's a time consuming and this print took 8 weeks to produce.

Summer Shadows is printed on Italian thick, printing paper using oil based printing inks.

The image size is 12" by 16" or 30.5cm by 40.5cm. The paper size is 14.5" by 21" or 37cm by 53.5cm

The postage and packaging fees are for up to 2 prints. If you purchase more than 2 prints I will package them together, where possible and refund excess postage costs.

For the U.K. I ship Royal Mail 1st class tracked or Special Delivery depending on the value of the package.
International orders are shipped Royal Mail International tracked.

Outside the U.K. and USA local customs/duty may be incurred. These are the responsibility of the customer and outside my control.
