Contemporary Impressionism

Painted in a loose impressionistic style. Pretty young woman with hat sitting amongst lupin flowers in a summer garden. The artist has used the 'Alla Prima' technique of painting in one sitting which has kept the painting fresh and vibrant. The mid day sun has created interesting shadow shapes which the artist has taken advantage of to create an interesting figurative oil painting.

Chunky canvas painted around the edges so framing is optional. Varnished, signed on the back and front and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
