Tall mountains of cloud piled up high in the sky, some soft and broad, others detailed and dense, sail by in the stillness of late afternoon summer. Subtle notes of pink and yellow spread across the sky as the sun settles slowly in the west.
This large striking painting brings a calm majesty to the room. Gentle colours that play across the cloud shapes and the brightness of the sun behind the cloud, casting rays across the whole scene; somehow it has drama and calm simultaneously.
