Original artwork description
The languid heat, the heavy silence, broken only by the call of wood pigeons and hum of bees. A terrace of houses stands neat, quiet, inscrutable and timeless. I loved the soft colours of the walls, a small rebellion against uniformity, and a testament to surviving as the facades bake on the walls.
Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished. A great souvenir of summer.
