Original artwork description
Extra Large Painting – Rolled for Shipping
"Summer in Andalusia" captures the warmth and vibrant character of the Spanish countryside through a contemporary, simplified landscape. Golden rolling hills lead towards a small white village surrounded by olive trees, while violet mountains rise softly in the distance. Rich red fields of poppies spread across the foreground, creating a striking contrast with the sunlit ochre landscape and clear blue sky.
Bold black contours and large areas of saturated colour give the painting its distinctive graphic quality. The simplified forms and rhythmic curves create a sense of depth and movement while preserving a calm, harmonious atmosphere. Inspired by the light, colours and open landscapes of Andalusia, this artwork brings the feeling of a warm Mediterranean summer into a contemporary interior.
