Impressionistic landscape painting.
I love dusk and dawn, and am busy with a series of paintings looking at the transient subtle light. many shades of blue, pink and grey work together, and many different types of mark making to create a textured and interesting canvas surface.
I love to work with my canvas on the floor initially to build up many layers of watercolour like acrylic paints. Once the bare bones and structure of the painting is in place, I add lots more subtle colour and work with lots of different brushes, rags, palette knives to add colour and and different types of marks to the paint surface.
This 120x180cm canvas has white painted edges, is unframed, and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
