The edge line of the work revealing the background of the gray paper is a natural part of the work that should be kept, you can cover it with the same color of the paper or add wider pass-par-tout in a matching different color to this edge.
I suggest non-reflecting glass and non-dominant - thin / up to 1cm / frame.
