The painting depicts a picturesque street in Paris, created in a vivid, expressive manner with bold strokes of oil paint. The architecture of the houses, with their red tiled roofs, white facades, and mansard windows, conveys the charm of the old city. Shop and café signs painted in large letters evoke the atmosphere of a lively quarter. In the foreground, people can be seen beneath the red-and-white canopy of a street café, adding movement and a sense of everyday life. The palette is filled with contrasting tones—blues, reds, yellows, and greens—that infuse the scene with energy and joy.
This artwork is made by traditional technology. Oil paints, MDF and linseed oil. I love to write etudes from life in a bright impressionistic manner. Small colorful strokes form a rainbow palette. I will try to convey the movement of air masses and the difference between illuminated and shady places.
