Original artwork description
This piece is from an ongoing series of paper collage art. The base of this sea and sky-inspired piece was constructed entirely of fine paper from Korea. Each paper was treated in unique methods including monoprinting, watercolor washes, ink washes, stenciling, etc. Collaging the thin translucent sheets creates depth, interest and interplay between layers. As a final layer I added graphic white lines with acrylic paint. There is much to discover in the layers of paper and paint.
The piece is signed and ready to hang.
