Stolen Time XVII (2020) Original Acrylic Painting by Richard Heys

32.5 x 32.5 x 5cm (framed) / 30 x 30cm (actual image size)

£650

My Stolen Time series of paintings began when the UK went into lockdown in March 2020. Stolen Time relates to many things: the lockdown as well as the gift of time that I was given as the whole world was forced to pause. Every day I walked to my studio across the fields in the Sussex countryside, observing and being inspired by nature & the quiet that fell upon everything. The images and inspiration from these daily walks found their way into the pieces in this series.

This painting, Stolen Time XVII, was selected for the prestigious Linden Hall Studio Winter Group Show in Deal, Kent in 2021. It is framed in a custom-made white frame and is ready to hang.
