The landscape of London’s St. Luke church in Chelsea London at night.
Each city has its own unique sound and aerial color. It is the color that inspires me to paint a picture.
In the "Landscape" series, the city becomes recognizable through the unique palette of colors and silhouettes of architecture, which are more hints than statements of fact. I develop some paintings by going around in circles for years, building up the texture, scraping back, the process over and over.
