Original artwork description
It was dusk in Barcelona and the boats were at rest in the harbor. I chose blues and grays to provide the feeling of evening descending over the area. The pieces of orange in the background show the last bits of sunlight. Transparent watercolor washes illuminate the scene. Line was utilized to create harmony.
This piece was juried into the 2017 Colorado State Watercolor Show
The painting is matted to fit into a 26" x 33" frame.
