This watercolor still life is created in the spirit of quiet contemplation.
Before the viewer — Chinese pears arranged in a frontal composition. Two lie down — round, tired, as if resting for a moment. The central pear stands upright, restrained, almost observant. Another leans gently against it, as if seeking support. And one is cut in half — its juicy core exposed to the world, vulnerable and honest.
The subject is very simple — and that is precisely the point. No unnecessary details, no distractions — only light, soft watercolor shadows, and the pears, each carrying its own character, its own story.
