Bowls - a familiar, unassuming object - part of our daily life. 
I’ve made a series of paintings using them as my main subject and I still haven't finished...


In this piece, I've introduced a tea mug — a small shift that changes the rhythm. Both the bowl and mug are decorated with delicate watercolour flowers, lending a sense of softness. The dusty pink background and dark violet table echo the colours in the floral pattern, gently tying the elements together.
