Original artwork description

Holidays are coming! Let us all sit and eat together! Better still… cook together. A big pan on the stove and lots of healthy foods to prepare, like sea fruit and vegetables. Mmmmmm mmm!

This monotype (a unique print!) is made with three layers of acrylic paint on a home made gelatine plate and after drying colored in with Karisma soft colored pencils.

Printing gives me the pleasure of surprise. It always turns out different than expected. This triggers new ideas. My monoprints often consist of multiple layers of paint printed on top of each other. After the printing process I also draw or paint on the prints again.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint; Karisma soft colored pencils; Acid-Free paper, 135 g/m2

Details:

  • Monoprint on Paper
  • One of a kind artwork
  • Size: 42 x 29.7 x 0.1cm (unframed) / 27 x 20cm (actual image size)
  • Signed on the front
  • Style: Illustrative
  • Subject: Still life
