Still life - Old bottle collection is painted on sealed, gesso'd board with backing support, with Old Holland Oil Paint, UV Varnished, Ready to hang.
When I was a child, my Dad, as a part of a vintage bottle club, would go on digs on old sites around Western Australia. Some bottles rare, some bottles just well preserved and great for display. These ones were chosen for the way they colour balanced. The bottle in the centre is just like the only bottle I ever found, when I went with him. I later found out, while I was running around playing, my Dad found the bottle, buried it, then called me over to dig to make the discovery.
The photo's of the Artwork in progress show each multi hour session to create this painting. It was completed wet in wet.
